During the Ist World Traditional Combat Games, which will be held from October 4 to October 8, 2023 on the venue of the Ice Palace «Cheboksary Arena», free UAV management courses will be organized.
The training events will be held as part of the project features of the Russian Union of Martial Arts called «Air Patrol», which received support from the Presidential Grants Fund.
«Air Patrol» is a modern platform for popularizing digital technologies and skill-building in operating UAV, which includes training in acquiring primary knowledge in the design and skills in operating UAV, which will serve to develop interest among the younger generation and older people of our country in mastering promising professions, will create a demand in society for the development of technical and digital technologies, and will also provide basic knowledge and practical skills in the use and management of UAV.
The training program includes theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is primary information about the types of UAV, types of software and the possibilities of pairing with other gadgets for further control in a single connection. Analysis of the device and operating principle, analysis of information received from the UAV and maintenance.
The practical part in software simulators and training flights includes control of piloting and coordination of UAV on training computers in game simulators based on Russian developments (FPV virtual reality glasses) and piloting training drones. The practical part of training flights is the maintenance of the UAV, preparing the device for flight, piloting, photo/video shooting of the area from the UAV, as well as taking the coordinates of a fixed point in longitude and latitude.
After completing the training, the project participants will receive certificates of completion of the basic course. Registration for training will take place in the foyer of the Ice Palace «Cheboksary Arena», on the same dates, from October 4 to October 8
